im planning to bulid a 75 gallons to transfer my aussie,, can someone give me some advice coz i will still need my 20 gal to make it as a sump., materials? and im using a sand as a substrate.,

To make a sump out of a tank you would need the following.
1. Tank
2. Pump
3. Misc PVC fittings
4. Lengths of PVC
5. 1/4" acrilic for dividers & for drip plate
6. Egg crate/light diffuser
7. Mechanical filter media
8. Biological filter media

agreed but i used soft line and hose clamps, and an over flow box (a cheep way of doing a diy one of these is to, find an old hob filter and take off the motor, then get a bulk head to fit that hole, take the intake part for the hob and theirs your siphon, ps on this the one that i tried of this was way quieter than one i bought ), and bulk head fittings (that fit the over flow, i made that mistake), and more soft line to go from your return pump back to the tank,
im planning to use a sand., do you think it will have problem? com i'm attaching the tubes at the bottom of the tank...
ahhh its pre drilled? you can do a silenced intake and that will not let the sand come in, and stop over flow
