Hormone effecting FOODS! Check this.
I was in contact with a breeder of FH from Thailand. So I asked him what food he gives his FH to make them so beautiful..and he goes XO pellets...and he wanted to sell some to me.
My FH is reaching 3.5 inches, and I need to move to pellets... So I was thinking of buying Hikari Bio-Gold and Growth from AUSTRALIA, or Grand Sumo Red and Growth (mixing it up with shrimp, chicken, etc)
So i heard SO MUCH good stuff about XO pellets, and since they are banned in Australia, I did some research.
Apparantly fish food like XO are BANNED from Aus for a reason. They AFFECT the hormone of the Flowerhorn, causing it, more like FORCING it to change and show artificial colors.
I really hope, Hikari and Grand Sumo do not have this crap, I do not care if my FH is not the best looking FH around, but im not gonna affect its HEALTH for my own benefit.
