Hell yeah that's a pig the one I was telling you about was a blue he was a little bigger then them amazing fish tho I don't know about the big boys there but in bama they taste like mud I always release mine

No silly questions. Its just a koi. Not native to kansas. Someone released it at some point in a small river. I saw it at the surface one day and snagged it.

Wow I bet that was interesting.. I don't think a lot of people realize just how hard flathead bite and just how much power they have underwater.

Watching it on TV and actually doing it don't even compare to each other.

Yeah exactly I've been noodling for years and people always ask oh does it hurt? And they don't have teeth right so you don't bleed then I show them my scars on my arm and they freak when they find out its from catfish
