I decided to assemble a couple snake cage "shells" today. I am in no way complete, they still require a floor, paint or staining, vents and doors of course. For everyone wanting to build a snake cage but does not know where to start, I hope this helps. Please ask any questions and I will answer them promptly.

This is a 3x2x16", will be for my ball python once she is larger.

This is a 4x18"x12", not sure what too but in it yet. Still wondering.

I added these panels in the front, cuts back on the amount of glass I need to buy and are functional, see bellow.

I use sliding glass doors. I used my table saw to notch out these grooves to allow a bit of glass to overlap. This prevents the snake from getting out.

This thing keeps me sane, lol. I find a radio makes me work faster and pass's the time quicker too.
