some fishing of april and may

here is just a few shots of the trout ive been catching since season open april 17. probably have about 50 put away now all averaging between 12-14 inches. the largest is a palamino i caught and it was 16 inches. its a great inland lake to fish for trout until weather warms up and then time to hit lake erie and catch the yellow perch and walleye. i threw one of the smallest trout in a fish tank and hes been in there for a few weeks. eats alot of minnows but thats it.

It is from a stocked lake. they stock it twice a year and its not overfished thus good fishing if you know how to fish for them. lots of other fish in there as well like your panfish. perch,crappie,bluegill and there are monsters as well such as northern pike,musky. its a glacier lake one of only few in pa. parts of a wooly mammoth were found in it some time ago. let me try again.

its called lake pleasant. located in erie county (venango township) I guess theres alot of vegetation thats not found in any other lake or something like that. fish commission wont even let you use a electric trolling motor or swim in it. boat and oars. thats it. its rumored that there are some springs in the lake were you cant reach the bottom in places although ive never found those places.
