I posted some of these on the media section. I bought these fry a few months back. All are from the same batch. The largest being the fader at 3.5in total length. One that is alone is developing a kok. Will it help the others to be separated? What kind of potential do they have. I'd like to get a nice pair out of the 5 of them.

fader looks nice.
my rd seem to get more of a kok when alone but it wastes a lot of space, they go right back down when with a dominant fish in same tank.
also when i put them back together the risk of casualty increases greatly.

Fh are usually kept alone because they get into fights and hurt each other. I like all your FH and I think that they have potential...

Also keeping males next to each other with a partition helps increase their KOK.. Best of luck :)

I realize the aggression levels of flowerhorns. I have a pair of trimacs that are nasty, so far I've had no aggression issues, but everyone has recommended that I split them up so I will. I didnt realize that they need to be separated this early to really see their potential.

In the wild cichlids get their colors and get a nuchal hump when they are competing with other males.. A partition copies the same idea while ensuring that the FH dont get hurt..

Many people believe that when FH are kept together from a very small size then they can be kept together for a long time, but this theory is not 100% full proof since flowerhorns are basically cichlids and each one of them has their own unique personality :)

IN MY OPINION YOU SHOULD SEPERATE THEM FOR EACH OTHER, IF YOU HAVE THE ROOM, BUT IF YOU DONT JUST SEPERATE YOUR BIG FH FROM THE OTHER ONES SINCE ALL THE BULLIN FROM HIM WILL PREVENT THEM FROM GROWING AS RAPIDLY AS YOUR BIG ONE!!!! BEST OF LUCK
