Just came back from a tour of Colombia and visited the largest aviary in America in Cartergena not far from Santa Marta. Colombia has the second most biodiverse habitats (1st Brazil) and the second most numerous bird species (1st Peru). There is a unique rainbow river in central highland of Colombia near the border of Venezuela worth seeing.

Very nice! I worked in Santa Marta for 7 years, most of the work involving diving and shore-side aquaculture activities. Beautiful! This post gets my patriotism all stirred up again!
