Hi guys wondering if anyone knows why this peacock bass has two black spots/bars on one side but three on the other, and from the third and fourth photo there are two orinocensis ( I think ) that I bought together same tank, same size and looked the same but now look totally different. Any suggestions why guys ?

This one looks so much better than the others, not only is the yellow always bright and constantly stands out but the whole body shines and stays bright with a really nice green/yellow sheen. But the others have a drab colour with the black occasionally darkening with mood fighting/ feeding etc. Although the fish in the third photo sometimes his body goes really dark green. I know I should just wait and be patient and see how they turn out but was just wondering with other people and experiences weather they’ve had the same and will the drab looking ones mature into something really colourful.

These orinos are young. They are going to change a lot more than that. Give them time and be patient. Clean water and lots of quality food. I doubt they will look the same though. They look as if they are from two different batches.
