some ideas for my tank

im new to this site and was wondering what i should do with my 72 bow because i just got rid of my cichlids ...Right now i got 7in tiger datnoid, 10inch fire eel... I was gunna get two teacup sting rays for my tank.. I got a sand bed and im running two ehiem canister filters and in a separte tank i got 3 small indo datnoids but they are too small for the 72 cuz the big dat would eat them......Thank you.

I would sell it after you upgrade to a much larger tank. You are aware of how big dats and the fire eel get?

ya i am im only 15 you noe at moment money is tight but ya im a go to a 120gal tank

Skip the ray. Your other 2 should be ok for a while. Any ray will outgrow that tank fairly quickly.

Tiger Datnoid's? Those are fairly hard to come by in my area. I was also under the impression that they are cold blooded killers that will kill (or at least attempt to) anything else in their tank. Is that accurate?

WOW, no, not at all. I think you're thinking of the wrong fish. The fish in my avatar are baby dats.

Most dats (if not all) grow 2ft or larger. Same with fire eels. I hope you reconsider your fish stock.

The only ones that supposedly get to 24 inches are pulchers. The rest get between 12-18 inches.

They still grow too large for a 72g. They take forever to grow though.

I would certainly leave out the Rays, that atnk isn;t big enough. Just stick with the Datnoid and eel.
