I have just recently ordered a 95 Gallon cube from glass cages (my biggest tank to date  ). I need to know what would be the best way to filter this bad boy without blowing a load out of my wallet. I plan on stocking it with a single large fish or pair. Oh, and I also enjoy a little overfiltration :naughty:.

2 rena xp3 canisters

Try a home-made wet/dry filter using a no-bulkhead PVC overflow to a Wal-Mart plastic 2 drawer file organizer sitting in a tote bin. The top drawer acts as your prefilter with a pond pad in it. The bottom drawer is the bio-chamber filled with pot scrubbing pads (370 sq/ft of surface area per pad). Drop a RIO 14HF pump in the open space of the tote and voila...you have a filter that'll handle 200 gals for under $100.

For extra biofiltration you can add a pair of 30"x12" UGF plates to whatever else you use.
