Im looking into gettin a couple vieja from Rapps for my 125g tank to share with a texas and GT, but just need some information first. The ones i am interested in are:

Vieja Argentea
Vieja Synspilus
Paratheraps Fenestratus
Vieja Bifasciatus

First off, if i have two different types of vieja in the same tank, will that cause problems? do they like to single each other out? (but only one of each type, ex: 1 argentea 1 bifa, not 2 argentea.) Also, from this list, in your guys experience which are most aggressive and which are least? generally speaking. Also, best personality wise? i have never kept a vieja.
Thanks!

I have all except argentea. my synspillum are the biggest at 8" paired and are still very mild. My fenes and bifas are very agro. All in the same tank, I have no problems. They dont seem to care who they pick a fight with. Not like parachromis who seem to hate their own kind most(conspecific aggression). All are very colorful, and out going

^ It was kinda the opposite with me. I was doing an all CA tank last yr and it had a jag, lyonsi, jd's, tex, bifa, and a hartwegi. The bifa beat the living hell out of the hart within the first week of adding them to the tank. The bifa was maybe 6" and the hart was 4". After the hart was removed the bifa seemed pretty chill and didn't bother the other fish. And from what Mo told me when I asked him abt paratheraps zonatum last yr was that they are very conspecific.

hmm well thanks for the responses. I was leaning towards an argentea and a synspilus. then combining those with a texas and either GT or female jag, still unsure. six SD's currently living in the tank alone. any chance of working?

i think it will work. no breeding, jag is female, and lots of target fish
