some interesting stocking ideas needed

ive been thinking on alot lately what to put in my tank, its fully cycled and just has a very active senegal bichir in.

tank measures
16" wide
18" high
42" long

looking for interesting suggestions, i was thinking of one big cichlid but i want some cool sugestions as i know an lfs owner who can get in more or less anything so i'd like some cool ideas to mess with.
i really wanted snakeheads at one point.

il take any sugestions as long as its not stuff like angels or discus cause they bore me

a red wolf, 2 H tat's , a few aces falcatus fresh water barracuda. I would do one of those.

not to good with the latin but the common names are red tail payara-- red tail freshwater barracuda----red wolf fish-----that should get you somewhere i hope.

im liking the red wolf fish, similar to snakeheads! never heard of the payara before but im sure they get too big
