some little monsters

got this little monsters today, there are 7 of them, and each is about 2".
Looking forward to see them bigger..

That is crazy, never seen them that small in person. Planning on keeping all 7?

yup, this time I will keep them. I have a large pond at home, too bad I sold one of my niger before, now I got to wait for these guys to grow. Actually there were 16 of them at the lfs, but the first 9 have already booked, so I took the rest. I was curious about these little guys, because of the spots on their body. I then looked through the web, and found similar pics of juvi niger catfishes, apparently those spots will dissapear as they grow.

here is an update, these guys have double their size since the day I bought them, I feed them sinking pellets just like in the photo below. I know that there is no decoration whatsoever in the tank, but its just a grow out tank (190g) till they're mature enough to be put in my out door pond. Besides I dont want them to turn skitties by hiding all the time. They used to hide alot behind the filter pump during day time, but now they are so active even during the day, specially during feeding times, which is all the time lol. I plan to vary their diets when the get bigger than their current size right now..
