This set up is a 220g and it's been running a year. Yes the bass and giraffe will outgrow it so it's more of a grow out tank. I'm hoping to acquire a 360g tank in the near future. Which will be 96×36×24.
I was more admiring how clean it was. Just wondering if it was because it was a new set up, or if you did a good job of keeping it clean.
Well thanks. I'm kind of anal about keeping my tanks clean. I do two water changes a week on all of them and weekly maintenance stuff.
Tank looks great, good fish choices as well. Are your pikes sp. Venezuela or another lugubris species?
Cool. Basically the same fish as Venezuela, I can't tell the two apart. I believe strigata are found in brazil and sp. Venezuela are found on the Colombia/ven border. I have a large pair of what I believe to be Venezuela. They have been really enjoyable fish. Best of luck with them!
