Some of the tank mates will soon be on the menu so they will have to be removed,my biggest concern is the sand......its far too deep,you need to remove two thirds to prevent anaerobic activity building up.

I cut it up really small though, or else they don't seem to eat as much. They'll just nibble on the bigger pieces. Almost like they can't get them down.
Mine will also eat the hikari carnivore pellets. They'll eat massivore too, but again, its almost like its too big for them. But I did the same thing, just mix it with their food and within a couple of tries they were eating it.
