The new con tank (33gal), it's not pretty, but it works and keeps'em away from my JD and firemouth that they enjoyed teaming up on. Will decorate it more later on

wow you did awesome with these pictures as well..that poly is something else.. and looks really good.. are all those live plants..great looking, good pic of mrs. Jag too.. keep them coming.. The pleco is gorgeous

Thanks Liz and BrtnBoy449, I've had the JD for about 2.5 years now, he's my favourite

All fake plants, I've tried real plants and they just get eaten within a couple of hours. Wish I could get some pics of the poly eating but she'll only eat once the lights go out.

The pleco is one of the meanest fish in that tank. He's practically a full out carnivore now, doesn't even bother with algae wafers, zucchini or potato anymore, just likes market shrimp, goldfish, thawed pollock/haddock pieces and shrimp pellets. Luckily it's stopped going after my JD. Oh and it will hunt down other plecos in the tank that are bigger than it and beat the crap out of them, which is weird cuz he's cool with the 2 little clown plecos in the tank.

what kind of pleco is he..no wonder he looks so fat and healthy..

I was told a common when I bought it as a baby 2 years ago...Not 100% sure now because of the coloration.

yours has tighter closer spots.. but yes it is close..closer then common ... common has no spots.. sort of a pattern all tangled together..wonder what he is for certain..???
