Went for a hike in Bethlehem, NH yesterday and saw some cool critters.

Nice pics! I have yet to really have a chance to go herping this summer. I haven't even accidentally run across more than a couple toads yet.

Thanks!, I wasn't actually herping per say but more just walking off dinner when I stumbled upon these guys. I guess I just got lucky.

Lovely shots of some of our lovely natives! I have been sadly far too busy to go "critter seeing" lately. I did stumble upon a few snapping turtles during laying time, but haven't really had the opportunity to look for any of our natives.

Thanks, I've come across a few turtles so far this season but nothing to write home about.
Nice pictures and finds.
Thank you, that means a lot coming from a photographer of your skill.

Nice pics! I actually caught a garter snake and bullfrog while landscaping today, lol.

And the other day I caught an endangered Northern Red-bellied Turtle while out kayaking. Unfortunately I didn't have a camera with me.

Thanks! That makes me think I should start bringing the camera when kayaking.

I need to invest in a cheap, water proof digital camera. I'm too paranoid about bringing my daily camera with me while I'm out on the water.

I use a casio exilim ex-g1 as my everyday camera, as you can see it takes decent pictures and it's waterproof to ten feet.
