Just messing around taking some photos of one of my OB peacocks, and I wanted to share. Ive been experimenting with some different photo techniques, mostly with creating a largely black background. I will go out and collect native wild fish and photograph them, so the best way to practice is on my tanks at home. I'll then I go back and kill the grainy blacks and erase out some of the particles suspended in the water that showed up on camera. None of the colors were enhanced or altered in any way. I thought these came out pretty nice so I wanted to know what you guys thought. If anyone has any pointers in photographing fish in collection containers, please drop me a pm.

Enjoy

Great pic of a great fish!!!! Pics are always welcome here!!!

Very nice pic, BG looks too dark though IMO.

Try not to erase every little grain of black. To me how it is looks very unnatural and just looks like you paintbrushed the whole thing black.
