Been working on it to get her sand, just dont have the scratch to do so at the moment. This si also why I dont feed pellets, less likely for her to pick up a rock.

It puffs up when it starts defrosting in the water, its big enough she cant swallow it and has to shake/rip bite sized chunks off. Hasnt had a problem since I have had her feeding like that.

Thanks though, she is getting longer, how long until they "plump" out and get a little thicker and more filled out? Seems like she is kind of skinny looking compared to most...

Mine really filled out at about 9". Now that my female is 10" she is massive. The male is much skinnier. He can't keep up to her appetite.

She just looks so long and thin to me lol but she gets fed every day most of the times twice a day if she takes the food. Maybe she isnt a she? Lol.

Or maybe I am thinking she should be thick and huge and she is as thick as she is going to be, all the other pictures of every ones Dels look so much thicker and bigger all around..

She looks pretty comparable to my male. Full bodied, but not plump like my female. She looks healthy. Although in your second last pic the anal fin looks rather large. She could be a he. Can you get a clearer pic of the fin?
