first pic is a goonch from fugupuff's last batch, only eats with the lights off and sticks to the wood all day. second is the lone suriname black wolf he brought in. eating like a champ. third and fourth are of a weeksi and retropennis he brought in awhile back...

haha, thought you posted a picture of a piece of drift wood, didn't even see the wolve.

and the pacman, get out of here, I don't believe that is the same fish, didn't know they can grow that fast!

yeah the wolf just hangs near the top of the tank on the return and competes with the FATF and armatus for shrimp and silversides.

and the pacmans were bought back in 12/2010, so they're a bit more than a year old. i think the bigger one just takes advantage of the fact that his mouth is the biggest in the tank.

How big is your Goonch. I bought the 4" size mines about 9" now. I just keep lots of small fish in the tank and he eats whenever he feels like it. Mine sits all day too never really see him swim around even when the lights are out. I find him just sitting. He moves around in the dark but doesn't pace the tank or roam. Just sits its a pretty boring fish its just the novelty of owning one suppose is its allure.

its about 5in or so. don't feed any live so its strictly on chopped shrimp/silversides and hikari sinking pellets. couldn't feed live if i wanted because the armatus, FATF and black wolf in the tank can eat about 30-40 small goldfish in about 5 minutes...lol they don't leave any for the rest of the tank.
