Here are a few pics from my collection. A lot of my normal looking ones are actually het for something so they will produce morphs. This year I had 2 breedings, the first was a pastel het ghost to a normal and out of 8 eggs I got 1 pastel and 8 normals...yes you counted that right, 9 babies out of 8 eggs! The second clutch was a mojave to a normal and I got 3 mojo's and 2 normals. I am still waiting for those buggers to come out of their eggs! Next year I am going for some lavender albinos and super mojaves and in a few years I'll be going for lavender snows, piebalds, killerbees, and a few other morphs!
I do name all of my pythons
someday that is going to be difficult to do but right now we have around 20 ball pythons (incuding the babies we will likely keep) and I can remember every single one
Here is my female mojave Ries, named after Riesling wine one night after we got her and were celebrating
and my male mojave, Monte, that my husband named
Here is my female bumblebee, Dacoda
This is my male "dinker", Morris who we are going to try to prove out. He was bought as a normal but looks to be something special
and this was my first snakes ever. The spider unfortunately had a little mishap and died but I still have the 2 mojaves and the pastel who is named Mango
and this big baby is Dee, a 16 year old male who is 5'4" and was rescued from a pretty bad home.
This is our 2005 normal, Rogue, when she was ovulating
Here was an egg we candled to make sure it sitll had good veins. It was awesome seeing the pattern develop inside the eggs and to see their eyes and watch them move!
and here is a mojave baby still in the egg. We are hoping it is a girl and will name her Nia after a Niagara wine
and just for fun, here are some tokay geckos we hatched out this winter.
