Lookin good Boost Someday i hope ya come Back to the FW tho your wit is Missed Brudda!!!!

Thanks for the kind words Hulon. I still linger around the cichla section ;)

Yeah, I obtained the bass a few months ago at about 2.5" and she is close to 7" now. They are known to grow to 12" the first year in the wild and then they slow down drastically from there so I'm not too worried. The trevallys are going to be monsters too but they have only grown about an inch since the summer, they are slow growers as well.

I don't have much in there now since I either had to release fish due to aggression or my filter ate them. It is almost impossible to get your hands on anything cool this time of the year since our water temps have dropped. I had a snapper (bluefish) but he was a vulture and had to go back, really cool fish though. I had a black or gag grouper that one of my friends had obtained in a killie trap but he want back too since he ate everything even if it was the same size or bigger than him. The grouper ate 2 sea robins, 3 kingfish and a few others.. I had a nice northern puffer but my filter just claimed him, only if he wasn't so curious. The current stock list is 1 striper, 2 trevallys, and 1 sea robin. My friend has a few tog and seabass that I am one day hoping to obtain due to the size of his tank.

Good to see ya around boost! I see ya still got some type of bass(striper). Hows the fly fishing been for ya?

Yeah blues are highly migratory and ferocious fish that require huge amounts of swimming room- thus not good tank fish. The bass will be pretty happy there though assuming he has enough room. Last one I caught was about 42" and weighed about 26lbs. I'm a little upset to hear about you releasing fish though. That's illegal and for good reason. For that matter, there are lots of regulations with stripers, I hope you've done your research and gone through the proper channels, otherwise NY Fish and Wildlife might get a little cranky.

42'' and 26lbs? Thats a skinny fish..

Space wasn't the problem for the gator, it was that he was bothering the other fish although I've seen them housed successfully without any problems with other fish.. Releasing fish? I got them from the wild and had them in my tank for less than a week, they will do fine back in their natural environment.

As for my bass, the fish in mt tank is 28", that's legal to me. I shouldn't have any problems with DEC.

You've gone to the dark side. j/k
I like your stock. The first pic resembles a fish I catch in Hawaii. We call them papio. They're brackrish when small but goes to salt as it matures, then it becomes an ulua. No wonder you were eyeing my snook.
