what species are these guys? did you buy them all at roughly their current sizes as well?
 
they are:-

channa bleheri
channa melasoma
channa aurantimaculata
channa asiatica
channa stewartii(pair)but unfortatly the female killed the male

some have grown a bit since I got them,some not as only had some of em a couple of months.

the female killed the male! i was considering getting a female for my auranti, did you see them fight? bet you were gutted sorry mate
 
Hi,heppy,no I did not see em fight,I was not best impressed though.


So the auranti's still doin fine,thought you was going to get a female from bas,sorry should tell you that this is Tim(timmy)you got the auranti off :cheers:

yeah i allready worked that out unless there 2 snakeheads fans from barnsley, i reckonised the pics from extreme oddballs. the channas at bas are a bit small, im gonna check them out next week they wern't for sale when i was there, im thinking il need one at least the same size or it will kill it , i could grow it on in my other tank but it might be risky if starts kicking off plus id rather get a big 1 it will be easier to sex might contact tom halvorsen see if he get get me a 12" female
