I was wonder what size tank would work best for the following. Currently they are housed in a 60 gallon tank. They are not fully Grown yet. Biggest is the blood parrot at 4.5 inches.

1 Green Severum
1 Fire Mouth
1 Blood Parrot
1 Green Terror
1 Electric Blue Jack Dempsey

Rule of thumb for fish is buy the largest tank you can fit/afford regardless. They will appreciate it and you'll enjoy watching them more when they have richer color and more interesting less destructive behaviors.

I'd say you want a six foot tank but you could make do with a large 4 foot tank. a 110 or 150 tall or a 125 long would all serve you well. The green terror is gonna be the most aggressive fish in the tank so he'll be your determining factor having not kept one its hard for me to say for sure if a 6 ft will satisfy him for life or make him tolerant of your more docile tank mates.

The GT might hurt or kill the EBJD... i say a 125gallon.

i think you might need a tank bigger then 125 but it also depends on the temperment of your fish. i have a 6 ft (125 gallon) tank. My stocklist at first was a jd, gt, rapheal cat. but the jd was very agressive so i then tried switching fish around. Then i tried 2 blood parrots, raph cat, pearsie and the gt. the gt was aressive toward the blood parrots. so removed them. in the end my stock list for the 125 is a pearsie, rapheal cat, and the gt. The gt has mellowed out alot now. A 6ft 125 gallon tank might seem big, but with big fish that space disappears quickly. lol

My GT as of now doesn't seem to aggressive. That may change as he gets older. In fact at times the firemouth has chased him. They all seem ok together. I am just worried over time the 5 of them will be too much for this tank.

I think this would be fine. as all as they EBJD was bigger then the others. Trust me.
