Since the Rangers were getting killed by the Ducks tonight, I figure I'd do something productive and snap a couple of pics of my tank and fish. Here goes...hope the pics aren't too big!!

This is my 72 Bow front. Do you think I should add a couple of more plants or leave it as is? My fish dig but don't bother any of the plants already in there, thankfully.

This is one of my two BN Plecos. They're both around 3".

My blue Dempseys which are both a little over 4". I bought them at 1 1/2" each this past June.

Here you go Headrush, thanks for the suggestion:)

This is my Green Terror at around 8-9".

My crazy firemouths. They're probably around 2 1/2" - 3". I bought them from the same place but one turned out dark and the other lighter. Are there two different strains of firemouth?

Lastly, a clear shot of my puzzle loach. The others are back there, just very difficult to take a pic of these guys since them never stand still unless they're sleeping on their sides.

I also have 5 Tiger Barbs in there. They were dithers for my blue dempseys and I've only lost one when I put the GT in.

Thanks for looking,

I think more plants and a solid black backround would make it a PERFECT tank...

I agree with the blk back ground. The plants are a personal preference. Your tank looks good, but a few more would look great too.

I like the lack of plants, and the driftwood setup is great.

Personally I'd ditch the "Luscious" background and go for plain black, really holds the light in the tank, plenty of people use black backgrounds so a quick search around will net you an idea of what it looks like (Here's Mine).

Beautiful looking fish too, especially your Rivalatus. Pending dimensions of your tank, long term the stocking might not work also pending each fishes attitude and aggression, but if things get out of hand you can always sort it out.

Thanks guys:)

I hadn't really thought about an all black background but after checking out a few pics including Japes' (NICE tank by the way) I'll be switching. It really makes the fish and decor stand out.

I have a bunch of plants I've been alternating. Sometimes I put too many, and then I pull them out like I did last weekend, and then I feel like I need to add some again :irked:

Yeah, long term it's iffy but I'm planning on selling the EBJD in the bottom pic which will free up some space. With the fish in there now, the psyco firemouths are the only ones chasing tankmates. I was worried about the Rivalatus with my EBJD's but he seems very passive so far. His mouth is like a Hoover during feeding time so I guess he's content :)
