Sadly that most of fish shown are amazonian and african fishes while not many natives fishes are shown. Indonesia, beside amazonian countries, are home of many freshwater fishes, some are still unidentified yet.

The natives fishes I recognised which is displayed in the aquarium centre are wallago leeri, some dwarf gouramy, pangasius, anguila, clown loach, balashark and Indo tiger (IT)

wow that deformed aro is really weird looking, but nice pics

is there any pics of the Bala Sharks?

Thanks for sharing!! +1 on the deformed aro and how crazy looking it is!!! I would take it in a heartbeat, tho.

the deformed arowana should have been put down when it was young. that's really cruel to keep it alive like that

Why the deformed aro should put down? It only have deformed body but i think internal organs are oke. Otherwise he would not have survived to reach this size. If it were mine, i also would have given him soecial care so he can grow to adultsize. If he's should have put down, are u thinking that u should do that to people with dissablities?

Deformed animal also has right to live

This deformed aro deserves to die quick.

Apart from the peculiar comparissing, also with humans there's a line which not to cross.
Deformalities have rights too. Yes. Rights to live and die as any. Not live as a curiosity because of its deformity.

Has to do with respect for life.

Really interesting deformed Aro. Any info on the age?

I can also agree that there should be more Indonesian fish there. Similar problem here in the Philippines. Most interest is in foreign fish and little is actually put into checking out the goodness within our local rivers and lakes.
