Yeah, if it doesn't eat him it will at least try one day. You will end up with a dead Jack or a severely injured one.
 
Jack always tried to eat skully...he got rehomed because my tank was way to small...

Jacks in a smaller 30g tank right now, he jumped a week and a day ago so I want to keep him away from any stress :(
