Hiding as usual.

Thats the shy one. I rarely see him/her.

The brave one decided to come out and see whats going on hehe.

Im still shocked that I actually managed to get this picture considering the fact that they are so reclusive.

Anyway, they are about 6" at the moment (I think) and seem to have a lot of elbow room in my 15g tank which they share with my 4" gar. Whats the average growth rate per month for these guys? Can I continue keeping them with my gar?

good to see your enjoying them but they get HUGE FAST, since they are 6" and the fact that you have more than 1 plus a 4" gar means your gonna need a big tank very soon, they will be 18" before you know it then their growth rate will slow down a bit.

Clown Knives are very cool. Glad to see that someone else finds them to be fun treat to see when they come out of hiding. They grow very fast. I had a 3" Clown Knife that grew to 11" in 6 months in a 10g tank once. So upgrade as soon as possible.

Hmmm one of my knife has 4 spots on one side and about 8 on the other. Is that normal? Also the same knife looks a little beat up today. Dont know if its because of the other knife or maybe the algae eater thats sharing his hiding spot. (my algae eater is kinda lame ... he only eats algae from one spot ).
