He looks awesome! Yes tell us more!

well i'm unaware of his exact age but the best I know is I received him as a hatchling on March 12. He's approximately 8 inches long and he's male. My Tank is 4ft long, 3ft high, 2ft 6in wide. Im in the process of taming my Timor, there not fun to keep when there too afraid of you, they can move like lightning. One of the most attractive things about narrow-snouted monitors is there so dragon-like. Infact he's so dragon like I frequently refer to him as a dragon by mistake instead of a monitor.

He looks good. If I could make a suggestion it would be to add more things for him to climb and hide in like branches, hollow cork tubes and fake plants.

This. Create as much clutter as you can, make that empty space useful. Cram in as much stuff as you can. Please tell me that isn't an open screen top.

Also, that is a Peacock Monitor, not a Timor.:nilly:

Oh wow you're right! I just searched Peacock Monitor and they look identical. And don't worry, i'd never make the amateurish mistake of keeping a lightning quick monitor with an open cage. BTW what is the difference between a timor and a peacock monitor?

Open screen tops with heat lights on top, are not good for monitor lizards.

Your lizard will eventually turn into a piece of beef jerkey.
