He or She has devolped a lot of yellow since ive had the fish just thought i would share pretty sure its a mono i really like the way this fish looks any input go ahead and share

nice mono i got one in a grow out at 2.5 right now hope he/she grows fast so i can get it in the big tank soon thinking of getting a second one looks male from the hump on its head but i could be wrong nice fat belly what do you feed it mines on bloodworms and guppies

ya i thought that was strange the hump thing to he is on pellets cichlid staple cichlid gold and also some krill he definitely has a lot of personality
