I currently have 5 of them (7", 6", 5", 4", and 4") in a 100gallon (6'x18" footprint.) I'm hoping to get a breeding pair out of them but none of the females have showed interest yet. I know the 7" and 6" male are more than ready, I caught them going lip to lip about a month ago but the 6" saggitae knows not to mess with him now.

My favorite fish but they really don't like their pictures taken so this is all I could get.

Does anybody else keep these? I know rapps has had the "xanthic" morph for a while but those just look like midas so they're really nothing special. I'm mostly interested in wondering how big the females have to be before they start breeding.
