2" argentea, been wanting one for a while. found this one at the LFS about a month ago. Just a little guy but I definitely picked a winner.
3" cyanoguttatus??? I bought him as a texas blue or something I can't remember. I bought him because I could see a nuchal hump starting to devlop at 2". I know it won't be for a while but I figured I'd grow him out. My female flowerhorns have been roughing him up and the picture is bad, but you can kind of see the nuchal hump. I just want to have a texas with a big nuchal hump, I've seen them online but never in person.
4" male grammode, pretty boring for now but he's growing.. You should see his teeth in more high resolution photos..
3.5" geophagus read head tapajos. Won this one at $5 at an auction. I didn't expect to win this auction at all! I'm usually not a geophagus fan but for $5 you'd have to been crazy not to have bought this.
2.5" blackbelt, the only survivor out of 3. Found these for $2 at LFS, bought 3 initially and a 90gallon wasn't big enough for three of these guys @ 1.5" so now I have 1.
2" cryptoheros red panamensis, traded some amphilophus sagittae for 4 of these. Lost 1 already but I hope I can get a pair. The color and pattern on these little guys is intense!
2" trimac, got a pair of these growing out indirectly through Don Conkel. I already know these are going to be sweet. I wasn't going to get them initially but for $10 a pair I grabbed them and figured they'd be worth the trade in credit later if something happened.
4" wild chocolate, took me a while to find one but ended up getting this wild for $12 at a LFS. This thing is mean though, he killed a keyhole around the same size for no reason. Damn wild fish..
3.5" red bay snook - traded some oscar fry I won at an auction for this guy at LFS because they didn't have much to chose from. He has a very cool color scheme right now but he should turn orange as he grows.
3.5" wild snook - bought this one literally the day after I got the other one for $10 at a LFS, this one has very little color but I know as he grows he's going to look sweet.
Being 2 different color morphs I want to try to keep updated pictures of these 2 fish together as they grow. This way you can see the different color changes the species go through in both wild and captive bred form.
3" pair of loisellei, won these for $6 at a auction. I'm not certain I have a male a female but I hope so. I thought I had 2 females for a while, but the larger one just acts like a male lately. Anybody care to sex them? Sorry for the picture quality, I tried..
1.5-2.5" austroloheros red ceibal, judging by size only I have 2 pairs of these but no spawns yet. Unique little species that Spencer Jack brought back from Uruguay. These little guys cost me $50 and that was after haggling LOL. I just wish I could get some better pictures of them.
This is not 100% of my stock list, just some of my newer fish. I also have some cryptoheros septemfasciatus, tilapia mariae, astatheros altifrons, and some dovii fry that I am growing out. Wish I could get some pictures they're just very small. Let me know what you guys think!
