Some Pix of the Whisker Herd

Got pix of everyone except my spotted raphael and suncat - because they are hiding deep within either rock formations or driftwood in both their tanks. Both big cats are currently feeding on tilapia fillets, market shrimp, and earthworms. The smaller guys get bloodworms and crushed tilapia pieces, with some mango and zuccini for the plecos.

Just have to say I'm SUPER EXCITED because I just bought another heater, and in another 300 watts I'll have enough to heat the 680! Which means more space for the kitties!

And here's some pix of the rtc and tsn when they were a mere 2" The tsn has kept the same two spots on his adipose fin this whole time.

I've fed them every type of fish I can find at the supermarket, besides the super expensive stuff - and tilapia is one of the most affordable. And they like it. So if you want to try it with your's then go for it.

Thanks! I hope you get your herd back I might be adding a few new cats soon, hopefully once the 680 has a proper filter and is heated. I'm thinking 2 trash can filters filled with filter brushes, scrubbies and a few mesh pads, with a 1000gph pump running it. I have a few koi in there now but they will be moving out soon enough.

You will need more than a 1k gph pump, Try aiming for a 1x turnover rate....that's what mines going to have, maybe more.

Will aim for a pump in the 1500gph range or more, I think I had a large one actually laying around somewhere, but it needs a new impeller or something like that. Will check it out later.
