Some Q.. Before i go and get one...

Well i have some questions, that i want cleared before i get the lung...

Its a WAL... About 12" and 1"+ Thick..

I want to know what should i feed him..?
And can i keep him with other fish ?
Fish like gars, bichirs, and loaches..?
I know they are aggressive... But can i keep him in the tank till i get a new one or put him in a 20g instead...? Its for about 2 weeks only...

For the lung i am paying 1000 indian rupees and giving my ornate bichir(5") for him... Should i get him ? He is in perfect condition...

definitely keep him separate from other tankmates...as should be the case with all african lungfish species. he'll make quick work of the loaches and can easily kill the bichirs/gars. unless you know you'll be able to house the fish in it's own tank, i would skip it. they are great fish, but need to be kept alone--

he'll be fine in the 20g for 2 weeks.
feed it any meaty foods.
