hi there i got a 600G tank with a arawana and 7 cichlas..and soon some motoro rays

so my question is is it possible to add BGK ??
or is it just stupid.

thanks in advanced Ras

yeah it would probably work i dont really see any of those fish messing with it but i would put it in a grow out while its getting used to everything and then just make sure its getting enough food when in the 600g because all those other fish are much more voracious eaters and it might be out competed

and of course make sure it is big enough to not be considered food by the HUGE mouthed cichla lol

They say they are best alone with no other knifes. But with that size tankit should be fine as long as they have their territories.

As long a its a good size I would say you would be ok. I just put a 3inch into in my 300 and a 3inch redtail shark I have chases it as soon as it see's it.

cichlas and arowana will outgrow your bgk, they are very slow growers and will always be left without food when competing with those tankmates when feeding.

this, and the cichla might eat your bgk-its a very thin fish, afterall.
