ok well i have a 90 gallon that im gona use for some africans

i want it to look natural, so would round river stones be right?, im sure people only use slate and other flat rocks coz there easyer to stack.... am i right about this?

also how many fish can i have in this tank? and will they all breed even if they have tank mates?

so far next week im picking up a breeding pair of electirc yellows and a pair of blue zebras

Sounds good to start off with the Yellows and B-Zebras. For a 90g, I always think this is a great size tank for a Cichlids community. I would say, if you want to breed them, river stone will do just fine. Just make sure you offer them alot of hiding places and a plant pot here and there. I would probably start off with 6 or 8. 4-4 or 3-3 with yellows and blues. Good Luck and Post Pics soon!

i was thinkn river stones or lava rock , lave rock cause i could use large pieces and build it up all the way to the top of the tank! i rekon it would look good

but if i do this and one of my females is holding do you think id ever be able to catch her? with that much rock work that i wont be able to move...

id really like to breed them and save all the fry but also have my tank as a nice display tank

is this possible? lol

"Possible if the Force is Strong With You, Jedi."

Everytime I have to get a Lung or a Cichlid out of the tank, more than half the Decor comes out too. Just a fact of keeping a nice display.

The Lava Rocks sounds cool, I've never seen a "Really Good" set-up with lava rock. Like I said, once you have it up and running, Pics, Pics, Pics.

If you want it to look natural, use sand. Just like Lake Malawi ;)

i got a natural looking sand for the tank none of this white stuff that im sure aint natural lookn

i just wana kno what rocks would be good for a natural look
river stone i was thinkn but its jus to hard to stack them

i was thinkn mayb lava rock instead?
