so I have a mosaic gar temporarly in a 20 gallon and i added 5 giant danios because they were on sale at petsmart and i plan on using them to cycle my 125 which well be set up when my apartment is ready in about 3 weeks, since i added them the mosaic gar has not been eating his feeders, he seems freaked out by the giant danios. is that possible?
the other problems is i couldnt get him on none live food, i tryed starving him but he wouldnt eat anything but live.
I have a 55 at home but since im at college i don't trust that my parents with feeding him feeders, they are beyond helpless when it comes to caring for fish.
One option i have is putting the danios in a 15 gallon which is my growout for and small small silver arowana, tiny oscar, tiny frontosa, and rtc hybrid(all have future large homes), i tryed that first but the baby aro was tweaking out..
Another question is i origanlly bought six danios but left the smallest one in the 15 in fear that the mosaic would eat him in the 20. one night though 2 zebra danios i had disapeared, next night the small giant disapeared. the oscar doesn't have a big enough mouth the eat them but the rtc might. Is that possible?
looking for a little direction,
both tanks have overfiltration and water changes every three days
thanks for the help guys
if you want pics i'll hook it up
