Great shots/stock Peter. I don't know why but I seem to always get a chuckle out of you keeping Semaprochilodus insignis. A great species but just always seems to catch me off guard when I see it in your tank, very nice one BTW.

very nice fish and nice shots

I see what you mean about the bass thing º.º convergant evolution I guess.
You have some stunning fish, just goes to show that the more peaceful and graceful cichlids can make just as amazing a show piece as the aggressive ones.

I know what you mean. Phylogenetically Satanoperca is actually closer to Apistogramma. The genus closest to Cichla is on top of my wanted list...

Thanks Justin! They are actually amazing cleaners and they don't eat eggs at night :)

very nice fish and nice shots

Thank you.

The winemilleri and manuas altifrons look great!!

Thanks JD! The altifrons are moving to Florida...I want to make the winemilleri more comfortable in that tank. Hopefully they will try to breed again soon.
