This guy instantly became one of my favorites when I added him to the tank at ~4". I'm very pleased with the way he's turning out. He's about 7-8".

This is a bright, beautiful species that truly glows. I've seen some nasty carps but as far as personality/temperament goes, my group of 'vontehillos' are quite mello IMO.

Now the dovii. Once this temporary living areangement is sorted out they'll claim the 180 which is just about the biggest footprint I can offer this pair. Once they've outgrown that our ways will part I'm afraid. Magnificent species! Wish I could do a pair for life.

She's actually on eggs or fry I believe. I'd stick my hand in for a closer look but.....

What a difference a day makes. I love it when cubans sport the white but the black is growing on me too.
