Some shots of my ornate

Here's a couple pics of my ornate bichir, around 6". He's been a bit aggressive lately. He bit the entire caudal fin off of my BGK the week before last, the day before I had to leave for a family vacation, so I had to just move the BGK into my 36 gallon. It seems to be doing alright, but I doubt it will regrow its fin with the amount of damage done.

Some of these are a bit out of focus. I'm just getting back into photography after year or two hiatus.

Beautiful ornate! Looks very active like mine also. Tank looks awesome set up too !

Thanks It is actually kind of rare to catch him at the front glass. He has a spot in the back corner beneath some wisteria, where he likes to swim up and down the glass all day, until food appears.

The tank is sort of a work in progress; full of algae lately because I can't get my CO2 under control. I think I'm going to end up shelling out $200 for a new regulator when my next paycheck comes...

I love planted setups but not yet done the co2 thing only gone as far as good lighting and root tablets.. One day

That ornate looks awesome. I have a 5 inch ornate but it doesn't look as good as yours.
