Some special kind of pleco (ID)

Shop owner didn't know. What Pleco did I buy?

id hazard a guess as some sort of bulldog pleco. Obviously this is the scientific name, but you'll no doubt get this from some of the experts on here. Nice fish though!

It sort of has the armor style of a Snow Pleco. I don't see the typical swirl marks and patterns on each individual plate though. Maybe he will color up once he is more acclimated.

Sorry im late to the party. It is a L-265, hopefully you either don't have any more plecos or you have a large tank with lots of caves. I had one for awhile and it was territorial beyond belief. At 4" it was beating up my 6" adonis, my 6" L-200, and both my L-191's to the point I just took him back to the lfs. And this was in a designed pleco tank with LOTS of caves, driftwood, and space. Anyone else owned one of these guys? Maybe I had the 1 in 1,000,000.
