magpie magpie I was not plan to have any more bichir since i sold all of them... But when i came to the local fish store and saw this endlichery about 2inches it pretty cool :) i've kept it for 1 month eating a lot and very active!

Wow. I've never seen a fish survive in that condition, let alone thrive.

Glad he's got someone to care for him. Could that be the result of birth defect versus multiple injuries?

magpie magpie thanks bro! ocellatus ocellatus In my country those fish with broken back some even have worst body than this endli are expensive than normal fish and i dont know why lol. This is my older brother tank he love to collect these unique fish.

Its really awesome that you and your brother love to save fish that have dissability. Hands down to both of you guys:)

Wow, that's new to me.

Its odd that the breaks on your endli are so evenly spaced and uniform. Is this being done on purpose by breeders to create this effect?

O
For the broken back i think it randomly. But for this redtail catfish's tail (i took this pic from facebook) some random but most of the time they cut it so that it turn into heart shape cuz i already saw a guy who cut those tail. They also do it to datnoid, silver aro... I wont buy those with tail like that because it hurt the fish.
