some tank update and makeover shots. load warning

okay so I'm not done with everything yet but I figured I would put up some recent shots.
the first shots are of my 210 original setup with the stand it came with from cjfrontlvr. then the new stand but still missing the doors. and the sump filter I got from streaker for 20 bucks, came with quiet one pump and overflow box.
the rest of the photos are of the 180 I got from cohazard minus a pair of doors that I havent painted yet. along with my stock. Once the 210 is done cycling I will be seperating the fish into both tanks and hopefully will be adding new stuff soon.
feel free to comment either way I'm always open to opinions and new ideas.

wow this looks great! you should try adding more bioballs in your wet/dry filter to have a bigger bacteria colony.

yeah I havent gotten around to picking any up yet, probably should have stated that the filter isnt really ready yet either. dont know wether to try the whole pot scrubbies or getting actual bioballs. any suggestions?

I will take that as a compliment so thank you, these are the only two tanks I'm alowed in the house so I dont think I will be letting anything go anytime soon.

Here's a suggestion, give me one of those gold saum's! Haha.

I can't think of anything you need to do, personally with tanks this big and fish that big I think bare bottom is best - throw a strong powerhead on one end to push all the debris towards the intake, other then that good to go.

yup those are the firemouths, one was instant peacock bass food but he showed the other two mercy, haha. I need someone who can sex my terrors cuz I thought I had a male and female but now that the smaller has grown a little more he looks like my male and they're fighting now which they didnt do before so one might be on its way out.

Your tank looks great. I would paint the back of the tank instead of using plastic. But it's still great. It's a good mix of fishes too, I like it. Nice job.

As a suggestion, add more bio balls and water in your sump. Big Al's has them pretty cheap. Five gallons (300 balls) for $6.99.
