In our parts we catch Hamerheads that are 16 - 24" all year long. They are very aggressive and will eat anything you feed them.

anywho i remember the first time i saw that video. i was like this...
for about 10 minutes
id toss in a cut bait right there and catch a Hammerhead
they probably shouldve just tightened the drag and broke off the Tarpon so he had a fair chance tho

The igfa all tackle record hammerhead was caught in 2006. It was 14 1/2 feet long. I'm pretty sure the ones your catching aren't 16-24 feet.
