So I got my xingus about a year ago at around 7" and my male and the bigger female are around 12-14" and my small female who had problems and was in a quarantine tank for about 5 months is around 10-11".
So my male rolled about a 1-2 months ago and then about a week ago he started to try a breed my small female with no luck. He would get a hold of her and she wouldn't struggle but he had no idea what to do from there. He has never touched my lager xingu female in the tank.
I was just wondering if anyone knew when xingu sp.'s become mature?
I don't know wether the small ray is mature yet or if I should move her out. He is starting to do some damage to her but I don't want to split them up yet if she is mature.
Anyone with experience in xingu breeding?
