I know we've got a bunch of really brilliant people lurking about on MFK, so maybe one of you can actually make this a reality some day:

Remote controlled/operated (but not necessarily wireless--for constant use) underwater streaming cam-bot. I'm imagining something like a tiny submarine with a covered impeller (to keep fish and plants safe) that can be controlled by the people actually watching the feed. So you could visually float around your fish tank and check things out on your computer screen. Maybe it could even have little robot arms and a brush attachment for cleaning!

there's an app for that? i duno, i remember there was this website that let you aim a gun and hunt wild life from your computer.

I've never heard of the hunting one but this is brilliant...why are you putting a brilliant idea out where everyone can see it and steal it??

It can't be that hard to come up with a prototype...all you'd need is a helmet cam (for like a motorcycle), a plastic bubble to put it in, and an existing RC sub. Voila! Instant pint-sized Alvin.
 
^ The hunting one was in a way kinda sad too...

Basically you sign up for a membership i think, then you get to login to the companies servers which basically hooks the user up to another computer out on a game reserve or something which is then hooked up to a hunting rifle... all you need to do then is look through the scope on your screen and your mouse to aim the gun, and the left mouse button to shoot what you want... I think they even offer a paid taxidermy services for any animal you kill through their program and they will send it to you or something along those lines...
 
There has to be some sort of external computer screen you can hook it to via a wifi signal or bluetooth or something...Like an iPad or something...hmmm...this will take more thought than I initially thought...

I want somebody to steal it! That's the point! I'm busy making money other ways haha.
