Was fishing at the local dam with friends and these two girls came with some little bug catching cage (thats what it looked like) and put something on the ground took a picture and left. We waited like 5 minutes and walked over to see what they were taking picures of and saw this lizard. My friend picked it up as it wasn't afraid of us until it jumped out of his hands and we chased the lil bugger( he was faster then i thought) and finally caught him. I couldn't find it in my heart to leave this lil guy as you are not supposed/allowed to leave pets in the wild. Can anyone identify it? and what should i do with him now???? I do have a heat lamp over the cage he is in now.

Doubtful that is someone's pet. you probably just took a Lizard from the Wild.

Yeah that looks like the lizards I used to always catch as a kid. I think perhaps the kids came out for something else and the lizard happened to be there when you went to look.

I saw these 2 girls open a container and put something on the ground. At first i thought it was a praying mantis and im pretty sure we don't have any wild lizards like this in PA.
yeah actually we do. depends where in PA you are. pretty sure that is a broadhead skink. at least some sort of skink.
