So weird but i caught BOTH my furry animals sneaking peeks at the same fish tank, and they are always in the fish room when the doors open (ie when we are in there) trying to see whats going on.
The cat used to hang around our first tank consistently when we cleaned it due to a rainbow shark jumping out a tiny hole and the cat eating it- so he'd hang around thinking he'd get a treat whenever the lid opened.

Jackson (bernese mountain dog) staring into the fishes souls:

animals are weird/funny

my yorkie and german shepherd are both always glued to my 20 gal, only the shepherd can reach the 55 so it loves to watch the fish!

our bernese usually doesnt bother, it will look the odd time and tries to eat them through the glass (stupid dog lol) but they don't keep his attention long, the cat will occasionally look but i've never seen him get up on the tank like that before lol
the cat loves the fish room tho- so many bowls, bags, buckets and crap to get into- interesting for him- annoying for us- especially because the cichlid pellet bag sounds an awful lot like his treat bag and he'll freak out and meow his *** off thinking you have treats for him lol

My Jack Russell Terrier has never paid any attention to any of my tanks. At one point my brother had a Flowerhorn and Red Devil in separate tanks, beside each other about 2 inches part. They tried to fight each other. There was no fish solidarity.

My pittbull loves watching the rays eat. She likes the smell of cutup earthworms.`

lmao ew this just reminded me when my bfs parents chocolate lab ripped open a stirofoam thing of fishing worms and dirt and rolled in it and smelt like crap for days regarless of a couple baths

I have Portuguese Water Dogs and fish tanks hhhhmmm I might not have planned this very well, we have one that keeps drinking out of the 120 gal. we are not sure who all watches because when you come in the room they act like they were not doing anything but there are nose prints on the tank hhhmmm I keep telling the dogs we do not herd mama's fish..... then the cats think that the tanks are just for them to drink out of even when the lids are closed

lol!!!
thats too funny- neither one of ours (dog and cat) have tried to drink out of the tanks but they all have canopies- our dog tries to drink out of the open tanks at petsmart all the time, we have to watch him constantly there lol

Haha, when I had a tank five or so years ago, I had a jack dempsey and my german shepherd would sit there watching and at times it was like I was watching a tennis match; as his head would go from side to side following the jack!
