I lost my buffer and Novus in my move, apparently. I just tore the house apart and they're gone. And now I'm mad.

I have a 4x2x2 tank with three surfaces that need to be buffed out. They're not in awful shape... nothing too deep, but I suppose it's possible it might need a layer or two of 2500 grit or something done before the polish and buffer get used. (I do have the super fine sandpaper kit still.)

The front pane is concave... so slightly curved inward. If that even matters. It shouldn't.

I'll pay whatever your hourly rate is. I live near Wrigley and parking is easy as long as it's not during a Cubs game.

Bump.

A referral works too. I've got two acrylic tanks now. I want them both crystal clear.

go to harbor frieght and buy a cheap buffer.diy
for half the price and keep the tools for further scratches..:)

I have a buffer. Two, actually. (Though I can't find them right now.)

I don't want to do it myself. I have an arm injury. Some scratches may be deeper than Novus can handle too, and there's no way in hell I'm hand sanding it.

Just get it professionaly done. At least that way you can gaurantee the results.

Right.

I have no idea who to call for that though.

Call Jim at Old Town Aquarium, he'll prolly hook you up with somebody.
