Soooo, I noticed my female salvini being overly aggressive and no other fish would go to the left side of my tank. She's layed eggs and they're starting to turn white. My male blood parrot decided to fertilize them. At first I was going to just suck them out b/c I don't want to deal with baby fish but the more I thought about it, I'm kinda curious to see if they'll hatch and what they'll look like. Have to wait and see now. :naughty:

That's what I was told too. The eggs are turning white though and he's gaurding them. Idk, they said if they turn fuzzy they aren't sterile or something like this? How soon till I'll be able to tell if they'll hatch? Been in the tank about 3 days or so now.

If they are white and / or fuzzy then they are not fertilized. Sorry.

Here is a picture of some fertilized eggs.

some are white and some are the brownish color as in your pic. Idk, just have to wait it out and see. If they do hatch how long till I take them out to a grow out tank so the other fish won't eat them and what do I feed them when they're that small?

Show pics if they hatch! That would be a crazy hybrid thingy!:WHOA::naughty:
